Sharma meets CS, various delegations

JAMMU, Dec 28: Chief Secretary BB Vyas today briefed Centre’s Special Representative on Jammu and Kashmir Dineshwar Sharma in the Civil Secretariat while the Interlocutor met more delegations and individuals today before winding up his four-day third visit to Jammu and Kashmir and returning to New Delhi.
Sharma visited the Civil Secretariat, the seat of the Government, and had half an hour long inter-action with the Chief Secretary.
Vyas was reported to have briefed the Special Representative on developmental works, security and other aspects of the situation prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir.

Former Rajya Sabha member Sheikh Abdul Rehman called on Dineshwar and apprised him of his views on situation in the State and steps required to address various issues.
Meanwhile, retired Judge GD Sharma, retired Director General of Police Ashok Bhan and Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Rajiv Ranjan called on Dineshwar Sharma separately and had detailed inter-actions with him on various issues.
Delegations of Muslim Front, Jammu and Kashmir Peace Forum and Sharika Koul, general secretary Displaced Private Government Aides Teachers Association were among the delegations that called on the Centre Government’s Special Representative and apprised him of their demands and issues.
In the afternoon, Sharma returned to New Delhi.
Yesterday, he had met Governor NN Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here separately.
