KATRA, Apr 25: Office bearers and executive committee members of Senior Citizens Welfare Forum, Katra, headed by its president Shiv Kumar Sharma, called on SDM Katra, Neelam Khajuria and presented her a memorandum on some burning issues of Katra town and surrounding areas seeking redressal of these problems.
The Forum demanded regular cleanliness of the wards/commercial spots by the Municipal vehicles, proper supply of food by Civil Supply & Public Distribution Department, LPG supply, filling up of a Nallah at ward number 12 near CRPF office, protection to the trees, separate Senior Citizens counters in all Department, Banks, LIC, Hospital, parking place at old Bus Stand Katra and replacement of non functional street lights in Katra town.
SDM Katra gave a patience hearing to all the issues and assured the redressal in due course of time.
The delegation comprised of Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Rattan Singh Manhas, Mohan Lal Sharma, Mubarik Singh, Sunder Dass Sharma, Pt Gopal Sharma, Babu Ram Sharma, Sansar Chand, Dr Hari Krishan Padha, Hari Krishan Sanmotra and Om Parkash Puri.
