JAMMU, Mar 10: J&K Civil Secretariat Employees Coordination Committee has decided to defer their indefinite strike.
A spokesman of the Committee said that decision in this regard was taken after a meeting with the Chief Secretary, B B Vyas and a firm assurance given by him to the delegation. He said that a delegation of the Coordination Committee led by Ghulam Rasool Mir and Maqbool Hussain had detailed meeting with the Chief Secretary. The issues of the employees were discussed in detail with special reference to the cadre review.
After assurance by the Chief Secretary, it was finally resolved to defer the indefinite strike programme by one week.
