Samooh theatre stages ‘Ek Thi Ladki’ at Patnitop

JAMMU, May 21: Samooh theatre staged street play “Ek Thi Ladki” at Patnitop in Summer Cultural Fest organized by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.
Written and directed by Ravinder Sharma, the play threw light on the deteriorating status of the girl child in modern society and educated the society about the outcomes of the same.
The speedily degradation of sex ratio is a matter of serious concern for the whole society, which is needed to be checked to maintain the balance of society.
The artists who acted in the play were Sandeep Thakur, Sandeep Manhas, Shubam Nag, Abhishek Sharma, Nainsi, Nikita Abrol, Pallavi Jamwal and Aashima Dutta.
The play was designed and directed by Ravinder Sharma.
