JAMMU, June 28: Shiromani Akali Dal National (SADN) strongly condemned the Government for not finding out a way for extension of National Minority Act of 1992 of India in the State, thereby depriving the minorities of the State of the legitimate benefits under this Act.
Prof Amrik Singh, general secretary SADN criticized the coalition Government for not taking cognizance of the legitimate demand of granting minority status to Sikhs and other minority communities of the State despite of the fact that the same has been kept in agenda of alliance.
Others, who spoke on the occasion included Babu Singh, Makhan Singh, Mohinder Singh and Santokh Singh.
