REASI, Mar 16: Reiterating the resolve of the Government to connect all left out habitations, Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Ajay Nanda today said that a huge road network is being developed across Jammu and Kashmir under PMGSY.
The Minister was addressing locals after launching the work of PMGSY road from Panasa to Dasanu to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 2.78 crore. The 5 km road would benefit a large number of people living in the two villages and their adjoining areas.
He said that the present Government is committed to meet the developmental aspirations of the people, for which a well-devised programme has been formulated. He said every untouched part of the State would witness all-round development in coming days.
He said all the successive Governments befooled the people in the name of development and that is why even after decades of the independence, many areas of the State lack even basic facilities.
He asked the people to have patience and put their full faith in plans and policies of the present Government, which he said, are aimed at development and welfare of all sections of the society.
