Rawat, Tamta to attend BJP celebrations

JAMMU, May 17: Chief Minister of Uttrakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat and Union Minister of State for Textiles, Ajay Tamta has been deputed by BJP High Command to J&K to participate in party’s State wide programmes and celebrations being held in connection with completion of three years in office by Narendra Modi Government from May 26 to June 15.
The Narendra Modi Government which assumed office on May 26 in 2014 will complete three years on May 26 this year and party has decided to launch nationwide programmes from May 26 to June 15.
This was announced in a meeting of BJP office bearers here today which was chaired by Party State president and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma.
The meeting while taking the stock of arrangements for the celebrations said the programmes will be held across the State in every district by all organs of the party including Mahila Morcha, SC Morcha, OBC Morcha, BJYM etc to highlight the welfare schemes launched by the Narendra Modi Government for poor and down-trodden people.
The meeting was held to chalk out the programmes in connection with the completion of three years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government on 26 May, 2017. The meeting was informed that Party has decided to celebrate the completion of three years of Government as ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas’ and Ek Bharat, Saresth Bharat, (Bharat Nation a great nation) from May, 26 to  June15 at national level.
During this period the focus would be laid to reach to the people to apprise them of achievements of Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The meeting decided to organize media interactions, holding gathering of various sections of the society such as youth, women, farmers, SCs, STs. During this period in each Assembly Constituency two massive rallies will be organized which apart from the MLAs would be addressed by MPs, State Ministers and Union Ministers.
The party has also decided to hold special gatherings of prominent citizens, the beneficiaries of the various projects/ schemes initiated by the Central Government. It has also been planned to focus on cleanliness drive, approaching the SCs and STs personally by party Karyakartas, holding quiz competition and organizing Modi fest etc.
In the meeting, the district presidents have been asked to constitute the committees and decide about the date and venue of the programmes that are to be organized in their respective districts.
Besides, Sat Sharma the meeting was attended by State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and State general secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Pawan Khajuria and Harinder Gupta, other office bearers, incharges (prabharis) of districts and State spokespersons.
