Policemen, volunteers donate 40 bottles of blood at NYBO camp

JAMMU, Apr 13: Over 40 bottles of blood were donated by policemen and local volunteers at a blood donation camp which was organized by New Young Blood Organization (NYBO) at PHC Mishriwala, today.
Dr Meenu Siddhu incharge Blood Bank SMGS Hospital Jammu deputed a team of doctors and para medical staff who were led by Dr Iram along with sister Sunita and other officials for collection of blood.
The camp was held under the supervision of Ashok Verma chairman NYBO, Gurbachan Singh ex Sarpanch Damana, Dr Rajinder Thappa, CMO GMCH Jammu, Dr Manzoor Hussian BMO, Kotebhalwal, Rajesh Sharma , SHO Damana besides, Kuldeep Singh, Ramesh, Sunil Sharma, Manmeet Kour.
Earlier speaking on the occasion, Dr Thappa stressed on blood donation by healthy people. He said with donation of blood we can save hundreds of precious human lives and bring cheers on the faces of many people. He said a healthy person from 18 years of age to 60 years can easily donate blood and he will face no problems on account of this. He also complimented the NYBO for organizing such camps and helping humanity.
