PHE drivers highlight demands

JAMMU, July 13: PHE Department Drivers and Cleaners Union in a meeting under its president Mohan Singh Charak, discussed their genuine and burning demands.
The meeting discussed the deliberately stopping the water tanker service allegedly by the Executive Engineer PHE Mechanical Division South Jammu for not providing genuine required diesel timely and maintenance of tankers. The meeting held that water tanker service is the only source for the general public to meet their emergent requirements, but the same service was being hampered.
The Union decided that it will continue to oppose the alleged cheap tactics and inhuman decision of the Executive Engineer concerned at all levels. The union leaders said they would be forced to launch agitation from July 18, 2017 if by then their demands were not conceded by the authorities at the helm of affairs and the authorities would be responsible for the consequences.
Prominent office bearers who attended the meeting included Kartar Chand Dubey, Devinder Singh, Naresh Kumar, Joginder Singh, Kamal Singh, Romesh Kumar, Bishan Lal, Raj Kumar and others.
