JAMMU, Mar 28: The inhabitants of Ward Number 4 Bari Brahmana today held a demonstration and blocked the Bishnah road against the opening of wine shop in the area.
The demonstration was led by Ram Ji Dass ex Corporator. The protestors including women squatted on the road and shouted slogans against opening of the wine shop paralyzing the vehicular traffic on this busy road.
The people warned that they will not allow the opening of wine shop in the area and termed it the violation of the directives of the court of law also. They warned to intensify agitation in case the wine shop was opened in the area.
