JAMMU, Feb 20: Former minister and senior Congress leader, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma has alleged that Pakistan has become the epicenter of terrorism in the world.
While interacting with public at Mela and Dhalli villages of Billawar constituency today, Sharma questioned Pakistan PM’s denial with regard his country’s involvement in Pulwama attack. Seeking evidences from the Pak PM, Dr Manohar Lal lambasted Imran Khan for giving such false and unethical statements and said Pakistan has old habit of telling lies but entire world knows that Pakistan is the hub and epicenter of terrorism in the world.
On Pakistan demanding evidence of its involvement in attack Dr Sharma said what can be more evidence when itself JEM has claimed responsibility of Pulwama attack through its Chief Maulana Masood Azhar who is staying in Bhawalpur area of Pakistan and if Pakistan is serious about curbing terrorism then it should hand over Masood Azhar and other terrorist to Govt of India. He said Pakistan should not forget that Osama Bin Laden was also found and killed by American forces in Pakistan.
Further, he said what action Pakistan took when evidences were provided in Pathankot attack and Mumbai attack. Dr Sharma further said that Pakistan is responsible for the terrorism sponsored proxy war in Kashmir and is trying hard to destabilize peace and prosperity in the country and will never succeed in that.
He further said on one side Pakistan is regularly carrying out ceasefire violations along LoC and other, it asks for talks which is not possible, as terrorism and talks can’t go together.
Dr Sharma urged the Govt of India to take a concrete step to give Pakistan a befitting reply on Pulwama attack and the whole nation is still mourning the death of our 44 brave soldiers and said their martyrdom should not go in vain.
On issue regarding the withdrawal security of separatists, Dr Sharma said it is good move but there should be no pick and choose policy.
