JAMMU, May 12: A deputation of New Hope Christian Union (NHCU) met Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, former Union Minister and president of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, and through a memorandum submitted their genuine demands.
The deputationist said job was given to Safai Karamcharis under CSR Vol-1, Rule 35 B whereby they were exempted from producing the State Subject certificate.
They demanded that the same rule should be applied for giving OBC certificate to get all the benefits of Social Welfare and other Government schemes. They demanded amendment in the rule as mentioned above so that their children, who are well educated, are also exempted from producing State Subject certificates.
