JAMMU, July 15:  Member Legislative Council (MLC) from BJP, Ashok Khajuria today visited Chamber House at Rail Head Complex and inspected the on going up-gradation/ modernisation work for which he had provided funds out of  his CDF last year.
Accompanied by the president Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rakesh Gupta and other office bearers  and members, the MLC took a round of the entire complex and  inquired about the kind of activities and works going on in the complex.
Khajuria  expressed satisfaction on the way the up-gradation and modernization works were carried out. He also announced  to  provide a sum of  Rs 10 lakhs  more out of his CDF for completion of ongoing up-gradation works  and creation of state of art Library with video conferencing facility.
On this occasion,  the MLC highlighted  the achievements and  vision of   Prime Minister of  India Narendra Modi and assured the members  that nationalist forces will prevail in the State and his party shall leave no stone unturned for development of all the three regions equitably.
The other office bearers of  CCI present on the occasion  included Rajesh Gupta,  Rajeev Gupta, Manish Gupta and  Ashu Gupta.
Meanwhile, Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes, P K Bhat along with his  team visited Chamber House today on the request of its president and  cleared the queries of the traders during an interactive session held here today. Mr Bhat also requested the Chamber to send the written   request regarding complex issues for which written advice  and answers could be sent by the CT Department so that there is no   confusion.
