MLA starts construction work of footpath, drain

JAMMU, June 4: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Jammu  East Rajesh Gupta  inaugurated the construction work of footpath at Kanak Mandi and drain at Old Post Office lane in Ward Number 11 today.
MLA was accompanied by JMC officials AEE Anil Gupta and JE RK Koul, PWD officials AEE Rajesh Sharma and JE Jagdish Singh. The total cost of the works is Rs 23 lakh.
The members of the Kanak Mandi Traders Association led by Anoop Mittal, Yash paul Gupta.Ashish Mahajan, Vipan Gupta, Ramsharan Gupta and Monu were also present on the occasion.
The BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA included Pardeep Sharma, Karan Singh, Ramesh Sharma, Naresh Pardhan, Subash Gupta, etc.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that the people of Jammu East constituency are experiencing all round development. He added that Jammu East is a business hub of the city and he will turn it into a place, where people would love to visit and do business. He informed that in the days to come, the places of tourist significance are also going to receive a major facelift.
The members of the Gali Gujjran Welfare Committee Yash Paul Arora, Surinder Mahajan, Dinesh Arora and Manav Mahajan were also present on the occasion.
