RS PURA, July 15: The BJP Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Ranbir Singh Pura Constituency, Dr Gagan Bhagat inspected several development works at Simbal Camp today.
Accompanied by several party workers and Government officials, the MLA started from Kullian Sub Station which was upgraded to 10 MVA under the RAPDRP Scheme. He interacted with the locals of the area and also listened to their grievances.
While talking to the media, Dr Bhagat said that BJP has got a huge mandate in the Centre and the Coalition Govt in the State will fulfill all those promises which the party made with the people during the Assembly election in 2014, but for vested interests some political parties like Congress and NC are trying to create hurdles in this regard.
The MLA said for Salehar to Rathana road, they held fake protest to mislead the common masses. But the truth prevailed and they stood exposed.
He said the Congress has ruled for more than sixty years and what they have done everyone knows.
Dr Bhagat also appreciated the team of PDD engineers and employees who are working with full dedication day and night .
He personally visited and inspected the works going on at Kullian Sub Station and instructed the company staff to install 10 MVA transformer in Kullian at the earliest. He also inspected the upgraded transformers of 6 30 and 400 KV from the CD Fund at Simbal Camp. He instructed the staff to change the old worn-out conductors and poles in ward No. 2,3,4 and 5 including Nihalpur Simbal.
In wards 8 to 10 large drains and drainage channels were also inspected by the MLA who said that funds have been allotted to the Block for the said task.
The locals raised the issue of road from Nihalpur Simbal to Tekri Gurdwara, the MLA assured to take up this road shortly.
Prominent among those who accompanied MLA included SDM Sushil Kumar, SDPO Surinder Choudhary, Tehsildar Sohal Lal and SHO Miran Sahib Ravinder Rukwal.
