JAMMU, Jan 27: The Jammu based businessman, who has been missing for the last three days, is still untraced even as a Police party has reached Jalandhar in neighbouring State Punjab for his search.
Sanjay Gupta of Narwal, a close relative of prominent businessman T R Gupta, is missing since last Friday. A report in this regard has been registered at Police Station Trikuta Nagar.
Even as Sanjay Gupta talked telephonically to his wife on the evening of same day and asked her not to wait for him for the dinner as he would be late, there was no further communication by the businessman while his vehicle was found abandoned near GMC Hospital Jammu on the very next day morning.
According to SHO Trikuta Nagar, Inspector Chanchal Singh, the location of Sanjay Gupta’s mobile phone was last time traced to Jalandhar. Though this mobile phone is now switched off, a police team has been sent to Jalandhar for locating the businessman.
