Srinagar, Apr 23: A 5-year old boy drowned in river Jehlum in Sumbal area of Bandipora district.
A police spokesman said Aafreen Rashid son of Abdul Rashid Charoo of Ninara, Sumbal, drowned in river Jehlum at Sumbal.
He said police has launched operation to retrieve his body from the river.
