JAMMU, Nov 8: A 33-year old man allegedly made an abortive attempt on his life by hanging self at his residence in Rajpura area of city outskirts.
According to police spokesperson, the man identified as Vikas Bali son of VK Bali, a resident of Rajpura area falling within the limits of police station Bakshi Nagar tried to end his life by hanging himself at his residence. However, family members timely noticed the incident and immediately shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be critical when the last reports came in.
A case in this connection has been registered at police station Bakshi Nagar and investigations were underway, as the man was still unfit for giving any statement.
