Man ends life by jumping in front of train

JAMMU, Jan 22: A 56-year-old man today allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train near Channi Fatak.
Quoting eyewitnesses, a GRP spokesman said that a man identified as Parvesh Kumar son of Paras Ram, resident of Sarwal, was killed on the spot this afternoon when he jumped in front of a speedily moving train at 95.2 Km.
He said that after completing all medico-legal formalities, the dead body has been handed over to its legal heirs for last rites. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
