JAMMU, Sept 24: A man died today of electrocution in Channi area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a man identified as Sanjeev Kumar (45) son of late Ramesh Chander, resident of Sunjuwan, became unconscious after he came in contact with a live wire from an electric pole near his residence this morning when he himself was rectifying some snag in the power supply line.
He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. The concerned police had registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
