JAMMU, Dec 13: The 121st Mahajayanti of Swami Nand Bab Sahib a great mystic saint of Kashmir was celebrated as “Harsho Ullas Divas” at Ashram Swami Nand Bab Sahib; Nand Bab Colony; Lale Da Bagh near here today.
In this connection a Mahayagya was held which commenced with Kalash Pooja yesterday evening and culminated with Puran Ahooti today. It was followed by Prashad Vitran.
Hundreds of devotees drawn from different parts of Jammu thronged the Ashram throughout the day to pay obeisance to Swami Jee. Among others the function was attended by Swami Kumar Jee of Geeta Satsang Ashram and Dr. Susheel Wattal.
In the evening Bhajan Kirtan was also held in the Ashram. The vote of thanks was proposed by Vikram Koul. It is pertinent to mention here that Mahajayanti of Swami Chamanlal Jee Bamzai-foremost disciple of Swami Nand Bab Sahib will be celebrated on December 19 Tuesday in the Ashram premises.
