JAMMU, Feb 24: Senior Congress leader and MLC B R Kundal today inaugurated four lanes got constructed in four villages Maralian, Singhpura, Krishnanagar and Kashmiri Basti of Miransahib Panchayat in R S Pura at a cost of Rs 20 lakh from his constituency development fund.
The demand for development works was raised by the members of Panchayat.
Speaking on the occasion B R Kundal said the people of the concerned villages have been facing lot of problems and with the inauguration of these lanes the problems of the people have been mitigated to a large extent.
He exhorted the people to strengthen the Congress Party which could only guarantee the equitable development of all the regions of the State, Sarpanch Comrade Kishore Kumar and Panchs Triloki Nath, Khushwant Singh and Rahul Ram expressed gratitude to the Congress leader and projected the demend of upgradation of Allopathic Centre. B R Kundal assured the villagers a positive response.
