Kounsar Nag Yatra concludes

REASI, July 9: More than 700 pilgrims undertook the Kounsar Nag Yatra, which was flagged off on July 6 at Reasi and passed through the Pir Panjal mountain range for reaching at lake site in Kashmir.
The pilgrims, undertook yatra on two routes, one via Sari and Gorvaan and another via Baghudass and Sedhati.  SDM Mahore Yasin Choudhary, who was overall incharge of the yatra, also accompanied the pilgrims upto lake site.
For the first time in the history of the Yatra, administration managed to provide piped water supply at the remote mountain forest location at Sari. Apart from water supply, a toilet complex was also installed  for the pilgrims  to prevent open defecation.
Locals provided full support to yatries,  including setting up of langars at various locations along the route and also opening up their dhoks for accommodation to yatries
Army provided five tents for additional accommodation at Sari.
Chhari reached lake site on July 8 afternoon where Puja and Aarti were performed before return journey on the same day.
