KATHUA, Mar 14: MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia today inaugurated various lanes and drains in Kathua town at Shiva Nagar Basholi Mohalla, Partap Nagar Kathua , Vashisth Mohalla Ward 17, Mahesh Nagar Kathua along with Sanghathan Mantri Inderjeet, Vidya Sagar, City Mandal Pardhan BJP, Dr. Narinder, Ravinder Pathania, Nitin Sharma, Jagdish, Sanjeev Verma, Updesh, Indu Ji, Deepak Prashar along with BJP workers in good number.
MLA while interacting with the locals, said, that he was fully committed to the betterment of the people living in the rural areas of the constituency and would provide better road connectivity in every nook and corner in the Constituency. The MLA asked the concerned officers to redouble their efforts in completing the construction work of the culverts and other ongoing developmental works in the area. He said many more projects are in pipeline to provide succor to the rural population through developmental schemes with cooperation of the people to make the area progressive and prosperous.
“I am keenly monitoring the ongoing development works in the Constituency and providing liberal funding for all basic amenities like safe drinking water, road connectivity, healthcare, education, electricity besides better lanes and drains,” MLA added.
He also called upon the people not to pay heed to the nefarious designs of those who mislead people by false slogans to meet their vested interests. Reiterating the commitment of the Government, Jasrotia said the Government is committed to develop all the three regions of the State which will witness new era of development in the days to come. He also stressed upon the people to avail the benefits of Centrally sponsored schemes like Jan Dhan Yojna, Mudra Yojna, State Marriage Assistance Scheme, Laadli Beti Scheme, Accident Bima, Atal Pension Yojana, Jeevan Bima Yojana etc. Interacting with MLA , people of the area put forth various demands related to power, water supply and repair and maintenance of rest of lanes and drains in the area.
Responding to the demands of the locals, MLA assured them that their genuine demands would be redressed on priority. He said that BJP at the Center and PDP-BJP coalition Government in the State is committed to develop each and every part of the country and region of the State. He said that in a short span of time BJP-PDP Government has started an era of development. He requested the general public to monitor themselves the quality of developmental work being executed by the different departments.
