Kargil observes complete bandh over execution of Sheikh Baqri Nimr

KARGIL, Jan 3: On the call given by Anjuman Jamiyat Ullama, Islamia School Kargil and Imam Khomenei Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil over the execution of Ayatullah Sheikh Baqri Nimr by the Government of Saudi Arabia, Kargil observed complete bandh today.
In protest of the execution, a protest rally was taken out under the leadership of the Markazi Imam Jumma, Hujatull Islam Wal Muslimeen Sheikh Mohammad Hussain Mufeed.
Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Mohammad Hanifa Jan along with thousands of people from nearby villages participated in the protest rally which started from Islamia School Kargil and after passing through many places in Kargil town concluded at Islamia School Chowk.
While speaking, Chief Spokesperson of ISK and Former Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Aga Syed Kazim Sabere termed Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the main source of terrorism in the world who supports Alquaida, ISIS, Boko Harm and other terrorist organizations in the world.
He further said that the main sector of Islam which has been divided by these countries on the basis of Shia and Sunni has to unite for the protection of this beautiful and peaceful religion which has been victimized by the Wahabi ideology of the Saudis.
Hujjatul Islam Wal Muslameen Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and Sheikh Mohammad Ibrahim Khalili condemned the execution and human rights violation in Saudi Arabia and other parts of the world.
On behalf of people residing in Kargil, President Islamia School Kargil wrote a letter to the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and appealed to Government of India to be their voice and convey their concern and protest against the Saudi Government and also raise the voice with the World Community.
He also appealed to the world community to assure human rights protection in Saudi Arabia including Palestine, Bahrain, Yemen, and Syria.
Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil Mohamamd Hanifa Jan, Executive Councillors Aga Syed Abass Razvi and Mohsin Ali, general secretary PDP Kargil Aga Syed Abdul, Councillors of Kargil and many civil organizations also condemned the execution.
Similar protests were also held in Sankoo and Taisuru under the banner of Anjuma-e-Imam Zaman Suru, in which religious scholar Syed Ahmad Razvi along with Executive Councillors LAHDC Kargil including Aga Syed Abass Razvi participated.
