JPPF for tough action against anti-nationals

Jammu, Apr 17: Jammu Province Peoples’ Forum  (JPPF) has urged the Center to act tough against the anti-national forces who of late have heightened their efforts to strengthen militancy besides humiliating security forces openly in public and use of ferocious social media campaign as well.
In a statement president of the Forum Pavitar Singh Bhardwaj took serious note of Army General statement and cautioned Central Government against taking any action against security forces for tying one of the stone pelters on the bonnet of the Army vehicle at Budgam. At no cost the nation will forget and forgive the humiliation of security forces at the hands of stone pelters openly in mob of hundreds of attacking them on their camps.
Condemning the open humiliation to the armed forces showing full restrain to anti-national and anti-social elements provocations is an insult to entire nation and Constitution and which such elements should be dealt sternly with iron hands.
Expressing concern over abrupt increase in anti-nationalism, joining of hundreds of youth in terrorists ranks, local unruly mobs joining anti-national move supported by ISI and stone pelters attacking army, security persons, army convoy, snatching of arms are eye-opener and should be tackled strategically to curb the anti-national and anti-social menace.
Expressing serious concern over prevailing scenario in the Valley, he said that Kashmir is already on the boil for last six months and efforts are being forced to put the Valley on volcano by some fundamentalists and Jehadis, who have put world in a mess. He said the menace of social media should be curbed by taking stringent measures in face of the videos which become viral and there are apprehensions that ISI will misuse the social media for defaming and humiliating security forces besides provoking the local people to grind their axe.
