JAMMU, Jan 30: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF), Jammu province has demanded immediate replacement of BMO Bishnah for his alleged mal-administration.
Addressing a press conference here today, JKMEF president, Sushil Sudan, alleged that earlier for his misdeeds, the said BMO was demoted from the post of BMO RS Pura to MO but unfortunately he was again assigned the job of BMO for which he is completely unfit.
Sudan said that the mal-administration by BMO Bishnah was time and again brought into the notice of the higher authorities but till date no action was taken against him with the result that he has started corrupt practices through his blue eyed boys.
Elaborating more, JKMEF president said that during the three-day strike of NHM employees of Jammu Division between January 18 to 20, the BMO Bishnah had made an alternative duty roster according to which Dr Fozia Bukhari, MO NTPHC Gangyal had to attend the night duty at CHC Bishnah in place of Dr Rajeev Bhagat, MO NHM, on January 18 but the former remained absent without informing authorities.
“However, instead of taking action against the absent doctor, Dr Rajeev Bhagat, MO (NHM), who was on strike, though known to authorities, was terminated due to wrong information conveyed by the BMO to higher authorities”, Sudan said, adding, Dr Rajeev was not even heard. He said besides this, neither the authorities assigned any reasons for his termination nor further enquiry was conducted so far.
The JKMEF president demanded that BMO Bishnah be replaced immediately and Dr Rajeev Bhagat, MO (NHM), reinstated, failing which the Federation will launch an agitation on the risk and responsibility of the authorities at the helm of affairs.
