Hatli police rescues 10 bovine animals

KATHUA Apr 11: Police Post Hatli Morh rescued 10 bovine animals during a naka at Maggar Khad today.
Acting on a tip off, a team of Police Post Hatli led by SI Verinder Singh incharge Police Post Hatli as deputed by Inspector Anil Sharma, SHO Police Station Kathua  under the supervision of Dy.SP S.S.Sambyal, DySP Headquarters Kathua  intercepted one truck  bearing  registration number JK19 5124 near Maggar Khad falling in the jurisdiction of Police Post Hatli. Police said the truck which was on way from Punjab towards Kashmir was carrying bovine animals.
During checking of the vehicle, Police rescued 10 bovine animals being smuggled in it but the driver of the truck managed to escape.
Police also seized the truck. Accordingly a case FIR No 132/2018 U/S 188 RPC, 3/5 PCA Act was also registered.
The entire operation was launched under the directives of Mohd Suleman Choudhary, SSP Kathua.
