JAMMU, June 10: For procurement of PDS sugar from open market, the State Government today constituted a high level Purchase Committee.
The State Level Committee has been constituted in view of abolition of levy sugar for the current financial year with effect from June 2013.
Headed by Administrative Secretary CAPD, the six -member committee will procure PDS sugar from open market after inviting tenders and fulfilling all codal formalities. Members of the committee include Director CAPD Jammu/Kashmir, a representative of the Finance Department (not below the rank of Director), Joint Director (Planning) CAPD and Financial Advisor CAPD.
