Governor launches www.hanumanyagya.org

JAMMU, Apr 11: Governor N.N. Vohra launched www.hanumanyagya.org and the related mobile app which has been developed by the Hridaydeep Charitable Trust, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu, at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Through this website devotees, in any part of the world, can participate in the Shri Hanuman Yagya 2017-18, which started today on Shri Hanuman Jayanti and will culminate on March 31, 2018. This endeavour is envisaged to achieve 11 crore chantings of the Hanuman Chalisa which will culminate in Hawan Yagya at Jammu from  March 25, 2018.
Complimenting the Trust for endeavour, Governor emphasized the need to develop easy to understand reading material which can be understood by one and all, anywhere in the world. He hoped that the Trust will continue philanthropic activities with the same zeal as it has been doing for the past many years.
Swami Hridayanand Giri, Tirath Ram Tidyal, Trustee of the Trust, Harish Nanda, Rajesh Gupta, Vice-President VHP, J&K, Harinder Gupta, Gen. Secy. BJP, J&K, Ashish Gupta, Member Tourism Federation of India; Rahul Dogra and Sourabh Gupta both Technicians who have developed the web-site were present. Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to the Governor, O.P. Bhagat, Additional Secretary and Hitesh Gupta, Dy. Secy., Raj Bhavan also attended the presentation.
