Governor, CM greet people on Eid-ul-Azha

SRINAGAR, Sept  24:  Governor N. N. Vohra has felicitated the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and prayed for their well-being and prosperity.
In his message of greetings, the Governor has hoped that this festival will further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, mutual brotherhood, amity, tranquility and the glorious pluralistic ethos for which the State of Jammu and Kashmir is well known. He has prayed for sustained peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, also extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, wishing them well-being and prosperity.
In his message of felicitations on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha, Mufti Sayeed said the holy occasion of Eid-ul-Azha imbibes in us the spirit of making honesty and truthfulness a way of life. “The holy occasion also teaches us to maintain high principles of selfless service to the Almighty Allah and the humanity,” he added.
He expressed hope that this holy occasion will strengthen communal brotherhood, harmony and bring peace, prosperity and well-being to the State and the people all over the world.
