JAMMU, Feb 28: A deputation of All J&K Non Gazetted Horticulture Employees Union led by its State president, Abdul Ghani Bhat, today met Minister for Horticulture, Syed Basharat Bukhari, and submitted him a memorandum of demands.
The deputation members apprised the Minister of their demands which include removal of pay anomalies of the Non Gazetted staff, amendment of SRO 235, reorganization of the department as per the pattern of Agriculture department and changing the training policy of regarding basic horticulture training.
The Minister gave a sympathetic hearing to the deputation and assured them of positive action. Vice president of the Union for Kashmir province, Fayaz Ahmed Bhat, State joint secretary, Devinder Kumar Sharma, vice president, Jammu province, Sanjay Khajuria and all district presidents of Kashmir as well as Jammu province were also part of the deputation.
