SRINAGAR : A personnel security officer (PSO) was shot at and critically wounded by gunmen in Anantnag in south Kashmir this afternoon, official sources said here today.
Selection Grade Constable (SGC) Fayaz Ahmad, PSO of Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, was fired upon from very close range by gunmen DC office.
He was rushed to a local hospital from where he was referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in a critical condition.
A massive hunt has been launched to nab the gunmen, they said.
