CRPF inaugurates pre-induction training of 3rd batch

JAMMU, Feb 20: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) inaugurated the pre-induction training of 3rd batch of J&K based battalions here today.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by SLC Khup, DIGP Range Hiranagar-cum-Supervisor ZTC Nagrota, while AK Jha, Commandant 166 Battalion and other officers of Group Centre, CRPF Hiranagar were also prssent.
The aim of this training is to prepare the newly inducted trainees to handle the unique law and order problems of J&K especially Kashmir valley effectively within the ambit of law.
Special focus is to deal with stone pelting and offensive protest by unruly mob there, apart from refreshing their knowledge of minor tactics and expertise on newly inducted equipments.
During the inauguration ceremony, a film on the supreme sacrifice of martyr Pramod Kumar, Commandant was also organized to remind the trainees about the contribution of CRPF in addressing law and order challenges in Kashmir Valley time and again.
The programme was conducted by DK Jha, Second-in-Command and Incharge ZTC Nagrota Hiranagar.
