Co-ordination Committee meeting proves to be a hoax: Kundal

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Mar 30: Ridiculing the much hyped co-ordination committee meeting of the BJP-PDP coalition partners held recently, Yashpaul Kundal Ex-MLA Samba and State president of young Panthers Party today regretted that no substantial issue pertaining to the implementation of the ‘Coalition Agenda’ was discussed in the said meeting which concluded merely with discussion on personal issues of coalition partners.
Kundal further regretted that rather than discussing urgent issues the focus of the co-ordination committee revolved around provision of security to the leaders of two parties and allotment of official accommodation and bunglows to the BJP and PDP leaders.
Flaying the co-ordination committee for its failure to discuss and initiate the delimitation process, Kundal said that BJP was shying away from its high pitched Assembly time slogans and had utterly failed to initiate action in respect of any of the promises made by it during elections. He deplored the highly servile attitude and utterly meek submission of the BJP over the issues of West Pak refugees, grant of state subject rights to them besides voting rights and State Government jobs to them.
He castigated in particular the most shameful surrender of BJP with respect to AIIMS. He regretted that the saffron party failed to rake up the said issue even in the co-ordination committee meeting which revealed its utter lack of concern for the issues of Jammu region.
Strongly condemning the BJP’s political opportunism, Kundal announced the holding of massive protest demonstrations at various places of Samba from tomorrow against BJP’s policies of duplicity, deceit and perpetuation of discrimination against Jammu region.
