JAMMU, Dec 13: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), JKERA Farooq Ahmad Lone today reviewed the progress of various projects being executed by JKERA under its ongoing Jammu Kashmir Urban Sector Development Investment Programme (JKUSDIP) funded by Asian Development Bank.
Ravinder Gupta, Director, Jammu informed that work on 19 number of tubewell, Bikram Chowk Flyover, Semi-Automatic Multilevel Parking at City Chowk, implementation of SCADA and procurement of Non Revenue Water (NRW) reduction management projects have been completed.
CEO directed that the process of handing over the completed projects will be expedited to the concerned departments. He said that the 19 number of completed tubewells should immediately be handed over to PHED.
Director apprised CEO that the OHTs and laying of water supply pipelines will be completed by January 2018. CEO directed to prepare list of completed water supply pipelines and handover the completed pipelines to PHED.
CEO, ERA also reviewed the sewer network project. He impressed upon the engineers to complete the project by March 2018.
He directed officers present in the meeting to strictly comply with the quality parameters and also directed all concerned to ensure completion of all projects in Jammu by March, 2018.
The meeting was attended by Suresh Koul, Director Finance, Project Manager Transport SK Gandotra, Project Manager Hydraulic Ajay Gupta and other senior officers of ERA.
