JAMMU, May 29: Career Abacus, a leading Abacus and Vedic Maths Teaching Institute, organized three days Workshop at Army School, Kaluchak, here.
Around 200 students attended the Workshop, which was conducted by Arvind Sharma and Deepak Bhardwaj.
The workshop was organized to sharpen the Arithmetical skills of the children.
Children were told that all the calculations can be done with in time range of 5 to 15 seconds. Students were taught a number of tricks with which the calculations could be done in seconds. Students showed keen interest in learning the tricks.
The organizers informed that the students preparing for Olympiads, NTSE, KVPY , School Entrance Tests and other competitive examinations will be benefitted from this Workshop.
Children were very happy to learn the simple and easy to understand methods of Vedic Maths.
The students were also taught various methods to cross check their answers. The staff of the school was highly appreciative of the tricks taught to the students.
