Bovines smuggling bid foiled, 2 arrested

DODA, Nov 7: Karara and Prem Nagar police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing six cattle and arresting two persons.
As per police sources, on reliable information, teams from Karara Police Post and Prem Nagar Police Post laid checking points and apprehended two persons along with six bovine animals, which they were trying to smuggle.
The arrested persons have been identified as Shabir Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi of Phagsoo and Mohammad Yousaf, son of Shamsdin of Mahala.
Cases under FIR Numbers 71/17 and 72/17 under Section 188 RPC have been registered at Police Station Thathri and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Thathri Inspector Manjeet Singh and assisted by Incharge Karara Police Post Mohammad Sharief and Incharge Prem Nagar Police Post ASI Balwant Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
