REASI, Aug 10: Police today arrested bootlegger and seized 50 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
A Police party of Police Station Reasi, led by SHO Jasbir Singh, laid a naka at IRP Chowk Reasi and intercepted the accused, who was on way from Reasi to Sulla. During frisking, the Police team recovered 50 Poly pouches, measuring 250/250 ml each of J&K Excise liquor from the possession of accused, identified as Gurbachan Singh of Bhabbar.
Police arrested the accused and seized the recovered liquor besides registering a case FIR No. 156/2017 U/S 48-(a) J&K Excise Act in this regard at Police Station Reasi.
