Party organises meeting of Shakti Kendras

KATHUA, Dec 14: To devise the strategy for the coming Lok Sabha elections, BJP today held a meeting of all Shakti Kendras of district Kathua.
The meeting was chaired by the party vice president, Pawan Khajuria and the Shakti Kendra members of all nine Mandals of district Kathua participated in it.
The meeting among others was attended by Pawan Sharma, Vistarak, district president BJP, Prem Nath Dogra and senior BJP leader and former vice chairman, OBC, Board, Rishpal Verma.
Addressing the meeting, Pawan Khajuria asked BJP activists to gear up for the elections from today by concentrating on preparation of voters’ lists and addition and deletion of names from electoral rolls.
He said on December 16 a camp will be organized by Election Department on every polling booth in this regard and addition and deletion of voters’ names in voter lists will continue up to December 23. He said the party activists should ensure that the addition and deletion process in voter lists is completed by that time.
Khajuria said that on every polling booth one party activist will be incharge of one page of voter list to ensure that all bonafide voters are enrolled. Besides , a State wide door to door campaign will be launched from February 1 in which the party activists will travel by foot to take the policies and programmes of BJP to people by visiting each and every household and highlighting the performance of their MPs and MLAs.
In 15 days 150 kms will be covered by every party activist by foot during the door to door campaign, he said. The party activists will also distribute publicity material among the people during this campaign, he added.
Khajuria said that this time BJP will launch an extensive campaign covering each and every house to garner support for the party in 2019 Lok Sabha elections on the basis of pro poor , pro public, pro farmers, pro working class and pro women policies of Narendra Modi Government .
