BJP celebrates victory in four states

BJP celebrating Party’s victory in four states at Poonch on Sunday.

JAMMU, Dec 8: State BJP leaders and activists burst into spontaneous celebration after receiving news of the Party’s victory in the elections to four states today. At Party headquarters, here when the election results started pouring in, a large number of Party leaders and activists thronged the office premises.
The celebration was marked by exuberant Bhangra amid drum beats, exchanging distribution of sweets, exchanging greetings and raising of slogans in support of the party and its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Later, a celebratory procession was also taken out to Kachi Chawni Chowk, where a large number of public also joined it.
Leader of Legislative Party and Jammu East MLA Ashok Khajuria, while congratulating the Party workers for the well merited victory, said to the workers to redouble their efforts to maintain continuity in the  victorious march of the Party in the State as well.
National Executive Member and former State President Shamsher Singh Manhas said that these results have a message that corruption and nepotism are not going to be tolerated any more by the present day well informed public which has rightly punished the Congress.
Dr Jitendra Singh, National Executive Member and J&K chief spokes person, said that these results mark a milestone in the continuing struggle of the common man against mis-governance and also a verdict against dynasty rule. The Party shall rise to the future challenges and live up to people’s expectations, he added.
State general secretary Kavinder Gupta said that the people in four States have sent a very clear message that the days of Congress are numbered now and they will not repeat their past mistakes of getting trapped into the false promises. He said that the results have also given boost to our party activists in the state.
Also present on the occasion were State office bearers, senior leaders, district presidents, Presidents of different Morchas, Prabharis of Cells and Morchas and a large number of party activists from different parts.
Party also held jubilations at Gole Market, Nai Basti and Narwal in which hundreds of Party activists participated. The victory processions were led by BJP leader Ch. Vikram Randhawa. On the occasion sweets were distributed among the people. Mr Randhwa said that the results are trend setter for Lok Sabha elections and BJP under the leadership of Mr Modi will capture power at Centre in coming Parliamentary elections.
Migrant Cell of the Party also held a function to celebrate the victory of BJP in four States under the leadership of Bharat Bushan Gosani. The Partymen distributed sweets among the people.
The reports of BJP’s celebrations have come from Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Poonch, Reasi and Rajouri also.
A celebration programme was organised by Party leadership in main market Poonch in which BJP District. president Sunil Gupta and other leaders distributed sweets among the people. A victory procession was taken out in Kathua town in which senior BJP leaders and large number of jubilant activists participated.
Another function was held at Udhampur under the leadership of Pawan Khajuria Party secretary,  senior leader Pawan Gupta and district president Dina Nath Bhagat. At Rajouri BJP leaders under the leadership of Vivod Gupta State vice president and Kuldeep Raj Gupta celebrated the victory while in Reasi a victory procession was taken under the leadership of district president advocate Ajay Nanda.
Another procession was taken at Pouni in Reasi district under the leadership of Sat Pal Sharma.
BJP Muslim Morcha leaders led by State president Mushtaq Ahmed Noorabadi who are in Union Capital participated in the Party’s victory procession. Mr Noorabadi said that Muslims have voted enmass in favour of the Party to strenghthen the values and bonds of secularism.
Meanwhile KPC also celebrated the victory of BJP at Delhi and its chief Kundan Kashmiri congratulated the Party’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and national president Raj Nath Singh for landslide victory.
