JAMMU, Mar 27: An awareness cum training program on the implementation of proposed GST was conducted by Bari Brahmana Industries Association in collaboration with Commercial Tax Department at BBIA Bhawan today.
While speaking on the occasion, Neeraj Sharma, CTO Circle -I, highlighted various procedures to be adopted by the unit holders to register under the proposed GST. A detailed Power Point presentation was given to highlight the various provisions of the GST.
Lalit Mahajan, president, BBIA, in his presidential remarks, appreciated the steps taken by Commissioner, Commercial Tax Department for conducting the such seminar to educate the Industrial Sector in respect of GST and to work out the ways and means for the implementation of proposed GST Regime for the Industrial Sector in J&K State.
Vote of thanks was presented by Viraaj Malhotra, secretary, BBIA.
BBIA general secretary Ajay Langer, secretary Pardeep Chib, Assistant Commissioner, Arvind Sawhney CTO Circle (V&I), Sania Haq Khan CTO-J, Neeraj and others members of BBIA attended the awareness programme.
