While launching, Madan Mohan Mittal said that after floods there was a need for such common platform. This App is not only an innovation but also a wonderful project for social cause, he added.
Dr  Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, informed  that students and the faculty worked for 15 days in developing  the “Save Kashmir”, which is an open source App i.e., it is easily accessible to everyone. We also were unable to contact our parents for the few days and then, we had an idea to develop the App, then we all joined hands to develop this project”. They were also thankful to their management that immediately provided them entire funding for the project along with technology support.
The faculty members, who worked with the students, included Neha, Gurpinder and Nivedita.
