AMCCC warns agitation

JAMMU, May 29: All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) today announced to launch agitation from tomorrow in support of permanent rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley at a single place, grant of compensation of damaged properties, houses, orchards and religious places, removal of encroachments from migrants properties and shrines, implementation of PM’s employment package and rehabilitation of over aged youth and grant of RBA status etc.
President of the Committee Desh Rattan said that the agitation will begin from Jagti camp tomorrow and later in the phased manner protests will be held in all the camps of Jammu and non camp localities in support of the demands. He said a total bandh will be observed in Jagti tomorrow by the migrants in support of the demand. Rattan said there is lot of resentment among the community over the bid of some vested interests in Government to change the names of Hindu religious places in Valley and the migrants will now launch agitation against the same.
