Adbi Kunj holds meet

JAMMU, Feb 8: Adbi Kunj Jammu held a multifaceted literary meet at its literary centre today.
The meet was presided over by the Chairman of the organization Aarash Om Dalmotra while a well known Urdu Kashmiri Poet Bashir-Ul-Haq-Bashir was the special Guest of the meet. Santosh Shah Nadan Vice President of the organization conducted the proceedings.
In the opening session Adbi Kunj president Sham Talib presented a resolution condoling the sad demise of reputed Urdu poet Malik Mohammad Illayas Tanvir Bhaderewahi who expired recently after a prolonged illness. Various speakers paid glowing tributes to the deceased.
Through another resolution Adbi Kunj paid glowing tributes to renowned Dogri poet, journalist,  revolutionary late Vedpal Deep on his 22nd death anniversary.
During the special meet a special Tarahi poetic round was held on the famous verses of Ved Pal Deep as “Unda Wada Ha Ya Sada Ha Qasoor”.  Several poets presented their special poems and highlighted various aspects of the life and literary journey of Ved Pal Deep and Tanveer Bhaderwahi.
Some of the participants of the meet included Aarash Om Dalmotra, Bashir-Ul-Haq-Bashir, Dr Matlood Ahmad Tak, Azad Mohi-Ud-Din, Masoom Kishtwari, Raz Rayaz Sohil, M L Ganjoo Frisal, Manzoor Badana, Shamas Reyaz, Sanjeev Kumar, Bishan Dass Khak, M S Kamra, Rajeev Kumar, Ved Uppal, Romesh Rahi, Raj Kamal, Ram Pal Dogra, Rakesh Tripat, Vinod Katib, S C Gupta, Santosh Nadan and Sham Talib.
For the next meet a Tarahi Misra was also given to the upcoming poets for the enhancing standard of their Ghazal writing. Tarahi Misra for the next meet is “Lot Kar Ik Din Yaqinan Aaian Ge”.
