JAMMU, Sept 5: Two victims on separate road accidents today succumbed to their injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Raju son of Gaind Ram, resident of Chattisgarh (at present Kherian pencil factory), was shifted here at GMCH last night after he received serious injuries in a road mishap at Gole Gujral. However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 4 am.
Similarly, a man identified as Raj Kumar (55) son of Guran Ditta, resident of Akhnoor, was shifted here at GMCH in serious condition yesterday after he got serious injuries in a road mishap at Akhnoor. Today at about 10 am, the man passed away.
After conducting post mortem, both the bodies were handed over to their legal heirs for last rites. In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
