JAMMU, Apr 14: A victim of road accident today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesman, an elderly man identified as Devi Dass (70) son of Chabbu Ram, resident of Patialaychak, was shifted to GMCH on April 3 after he sustained grievous injuries in a road mishap at Patialaychak.
“After battling with the life for over 10 days, the old man succumbed to his injuries today at about 4 AM”, he said, adding, after completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
