4 injured in road mishap

SAMBA, Nov 27: Four persons were injured in road accident after a truck collided with a tempo traveler on Jammu -Pathankote National Highway near Bai nullah under the jurisdiction of Ghagwal Police in Samba district early this morning.
According to police a tempo traveler bearing number PB01-8710 hit the truck bearing number PB08A-8085. Both the vehicles were on their way from Samba to Pathankote.
All the four persons traveling in tempo traveler were injured. After receiving the information the Ghagwal Police rushed the spot and shifted all the injured to Government District Hospital Samba where from doctors referred them to GMC Jammu.
The injured have been identified as Ranjit Singh 19, son of Virender Singh, Vishal 15, son of Raja, Vicky, 26, son of Tulsi Dass and Raju, 34 all residents of Gumtalab Amritsar, Punjab.
The tempo traveler driver fled from the spot leaving his vehicle on the road. The Ghagwal Police has seized the vehicle and registered a case against the driver.
