Srinagar, Sept 22: An 11 year old student of fourth standard died while playing during lunch break inside school premises at Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said a student namely Ubaid Altaf, son of Altaf Ahmad Bhat, resident of Badambagh Sopore, suddenly collapsed while playing inside premises of Muslim Education Trust school. The student was immediately rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
An official at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sopore said that while exact cause of death is not known yet but cardiac arrest could be the cause. Meanwhile, a poll of gloom descended in MET school after news about the student’s death arrived. A police official said that they have registered a case and started investigation into the matter.
