Sewa II achieves hat trick of “Best Performing”

KATHUA, Nov 7: Sewa II Power Station, located in Mashka village of Kathua district, has achieved a rare feat of achieving the “hat trick” of being declared as the “Best Performing Power Station of NHPC”, consecutively for the past preceeding three years.
For the previous FY Sewa II PS achieved a cumulative annual generation of 597.08 million units of energy against the annual target of 534 MU. The award is based upon a number of criteria, the top three being the achievement of annual generation targets, plant availability factor and earnings from unscheduled interchanges.
Bikram Singh, Chief Engineer (I/C), Sewa II Power Station, received the coveted trophy from K M Singh, CMD NHPC, at a gala function organised in New Delhi.
